HAHA- very trick stuff eh ?
Yea, fits perfect between the frame rails, and more importantly the clearance to the ground is perfect. I wont have any issues laying this on out. |

Re: My 66 C-10 LWB full PB "Blackout"
Hotter then hell here in Vegas. But I am managing to keep things going. Test fitting the bed, so i can figure out my exhaust plan, port-through box for the subs, accuair and battery locations. The truck is at my desired ride height in this pic. She will be tucking a good 6" or so in the rear

Re: My 66 C-10 LWB full PB "Blackout"
Ok- progress is coming. CAM is ordered and Gauges are ordered. Next up is the wiring, installing the bed and the hidden doors to house the AccuAir setup along with the batteries. This will all be boxed in and protected from the elements as this will be daily driver worthy.
And then for my favorite part the Interior. Hope you all have a great 4th~~ |

Re: My 66 C-10 LWB full PB "Blackout"
so currently the truck is at Airth Defined here in Las Vegas, Zack is the man and he is doing a great job bustin out some killr work. I wanted to build this box and flush it into the bed floor to keep the battery & AccuAir out of the elements (keeping with the theme of a Daily Driver worthy truck) Will also be used to store some tools with misc. compartments.

Re: My 66 C-10 LWB full PB "Blackout"
Zack is doing a killr job on the box. Most people throw the compressors and tank under the bed and forget about it. But with my last truck (avalanche bagged on 27"s) I daily drove it for 6 years and would have issues with rain, burning up compressors, or blowing fuses. Since im building this truck to last I wanted to opt for this route. So yes I fully understand this is overkill
Secondly after spending the $$ on Accuair this give me a way to show it off without making people crawl under the truck |
