85/Silver,
It is PPG 50775 Cordovan Maroon.

Moneyeater, I love your truck, might have to copy your tire size!

Re: static dropped square bodies with 15s

I will be joining this thread soon. I plan to loose my current 17's for a set of 15" Ansen Sprints with BFG T/A.

85super,
What don't you like about your 17" rims? I was thinking of going to 17s but not sure. If I don't, I thought about the same style rim you want to go to.

Re: static dropped square bodies with 15s

Huston Ben, there is nothing wrong with my 17's. they where in the truck when I bought it. They are Helo Max 6 and look to 4x4ish for me. I am going with the 15's for the classic look. Not to mention a set of 4 rims and tires together cost less than one Schott rim that was my other option.

Dropped leaf springs? Where did you get them?

I have Beltech dropped hangers and WC shackles on the shelf, but can't decide which set or combo to use for a 2"-3" drop. If I do the hangers I'll need to drop the tank. Using the shackles requires notching a bed support member, which I hate to do.

Re: static dropped square bodies with 15s

I ordered them from the Western Chassis website. Install was easy. I went with these so I didn't have to cut the support for the shackles or go through the trouble of grinding rivets and relocating the hangers. You could purchase the 3" drop leaf springs and remove a leaf to drop it to 4 inches if you don't like the stance. It didn't quite get me to 4" of drop but I'm pleased with the results. I'll put a link below

A static drop is just simply a drop that is at a fixed height - it doesn't change. Examples would be drop springs, drop spindles, axle flips, or shackle relocators, once installed your ride height is set. Guys with bags on their truck can raise or lower the suspension height at will.

I see... It's a non adjustable suspension.

You guys with 5/7 drops, is there room for a 15x10 Rally wheel with 275's mounted in the rear?

Yes. We even ran a 295/50-15 on a fleetside...
