Re: My Quest for Hot Rod Power Tour, Take 2

the pan could have been tig welded, but when i looked real close all kinds of spider cracks went throught the aluminum where it bent the middle.

was afraid i would miss one of those cracks so i just got another pan.

But Good News, took it to the front end alignment shop and after two hours of pulling and tugging the frontend is aligned now, even did a four wheel alignment while we were there.

Re: My Quest for Hot Rod Power Tour, Take 2

ok lets see, what has happened since last update.

charged ac system, two days later compressor blew apart at center seals.
guess junkyard motor didnt like pressure after all.

replaced coil pack, no 5 kept kicking the check engine light on.

replaced busted air bar off the front, sent it back for warrenty, will see how that goes.

9 days to go, got some test driving to do.

That's better than my 2000 Camaro with a LS engine!

Hope to see you on the road in a few days!
