what is your eye to eye measurement on your coilovers at ride height? Also, what size of wheel and tire do you have mounted on the truck?

I adjusted the coil over yesterday and it gave me a little more clearance. I have about 2" now. I'll take a measurement from eye to eye. What should it be? The tire size is a 205/70-15

thank you. The truck looks great. What is your experience with the kit how does it ride and how do you like it? Any issues with ground clearance and the front end?

Rides and handles very well. I haven't even put on my front sway bar
Yet and it corners great. Ground clearance by the control arms is a little low but with and lowered vehicle you have to be careful. No regrets buying this kit at all.

It could go a little lower but not much.

Re: RideTech's New C10 CoilOver Kits

When you order the kit do you tell Ridetech which motor and trans combo you are running to get the correct rated springs for the coilovers?

I would give ridetech a call in the morning and ask. I believe most kits go out with the same coil springs for our trucks.

When you order a coilover kit we ask what the motor and trans combo is. If we don't be sure to tell us. The LS and Small block springs are the same, but the big block trucks require a stiffer spring.

Re: RideTech's New C10 CoilOver Kits

Also let us know if you have any additional weight such as superchargers, turbos etc. because they can also vary the spring rate.

2nd trip out with the truck and less than 20 street miles. Brought home a win in the Columbus Goodguys truck class. It's amazing how well it does for a stock crossmember.

Re: RideTech's New C10 CoilOver Kits

I'm a little late to this thread, but I also purchased this kit. So far this install has gone okay. A couple things I learned though.

-Paper templates are next to worthless. It was much easier to cut off the high section of the front crossmember. Sit the new bracket down and then trace out what actually has to be cut out. The one for the rear was, ummm... off... I bet I ground down another 1/4-1/2 inches in spots to have a nice tight flush fit.

This is the final cuts before the frame went off to powder coat. I should start reassembling it next week.
