I like those parking lights, if you wanted you could put fog lights in the bumper.

Didnt think about doing that going to look into it. Just add another toggle to dash. I didnt get pictures but got chrome bumper on and glove box liner in. Getting down to little things. Next biggest is tires and alignment. Will get pictures soon.

That's a nice looking burb. Lot of real estate to buff must have arms of steel after that.

The patina is real on the cab and most of the bed. It was a longbed so I shortened the frame and the bed and then kinda faked the patina on the bed where it was cut and welded.

Good job, was good enough I couldn't tell. Not that I am any expert.

It has evolved. Its hard to tell in person from more than a few feet away except that I didn't grind the welds inside the bed and there is no filler on the bedsides at all so if you look close you can see the weld seams where I ground them down and the small amount of shrinkage from the welding. I didn't do any finish work at all besides grinding the outside welds smooth.

Thats a bit of talent if its that had to tell and you did no prep. That speaks worlds of how well you finished it. I need to do some similar work on mine on rockers he welded but never smoothed them out bugs me to death but how did you go about blending for the patina?

I found spray paint that was very close in color and fogged the entire bedsides and then fogged gray primer over that and let it dry then used a fine Scotch brite pad to scuff the entire bedside.

And my 64 is still wearing its original coat.. In most of he spots.

I used the same method on the bed strips when I installed the new wood. They were black.

I really like color on 72. Is it factory ? mine was that green and white combo they made but i like the green on yours a bit more.
