Re: Our new shop - AKA Barnasaurus
After working thru the holiday I got to have a non-traditional Thanksgiving Saturday night with my family - My oldest son John was in town for a wedding and was able to stick around and have a late dinner with us - a super nice surprise as both me and my youngest son Wyatt had to work all day and neither of us expected to see him. Mom was excited having both boys home at the same time as it was late summer since we were all able to be together.
We didn't make any progress on the shop due to work and the holiday but I finally got the chance to change out the old starter in Nancy (replaced it with a powermaster). And since Wyatt is off this week he and I were able to switch out his old headlight assemblies on Rhonda the Honda (his 2005 Civic) with new ones with LED halos. The job was fairly easy and made a big difference in the looks of the car as well as night driving. Wyatt said it's like driving in high definition. Hope to get back on with the shop next week.

Ha!
Thanks Ogre - Hopefully, Barnasaurus will remember how it came to be and not turn out like a former child star.

Been a while since my last update with pictures. Progress is still slow but progress all the same. I have decided to go with a Qunicy air compressor and hope to have it with in the next month or two. Will be doing the rough in electric for the upstairs and railing in the next week or two.

Be patient. I will get the mounting boards painted. The little window seat will be for the grand kids, not Grandma.........although, I think it would be big enough as I've got skill.......

Re: Our new shop - AKA Barnasaurus
Rough in electric for the loft and HVAC are finished. Next items are to set the HVAC system, the stair hand rails, and the loft railing. I actually may get the construction phase completed before christmas...lol. Then I can get the compressor and lift installed....

Congratulations on your first Grandson! We have two and they are so much fun.
Shop is looking great. Dumb question, why the insulation under the floor of the mezzanine? |
