Re: 1963 GMC C30 panel truck

Started to make the patches. Also lined up the usage of a mig welder. Thank you Godfrey! I need to get some shielding gas though and the shop won't be open till Tuesday morning, giving me plenty of time to get all my patches ready and the metal all cleaned up.

Re: 1963 GMC C30 panel truck

Finally got my own welding gas bottle and proceeded with the rocker rebuild. Ended up pulling the whole front support, only enough left to give me a hard time. I am hoping to get the passengers side done tomorrow then I will be moving on to the drivers side

Right on, just need settle on a tach. Will be interesting to see how the wait to start indicator will go in. Thinking about incorporating some wood there too

Re: 1963 GMC C30 panel truck

Got more of the floor done. Still a couple of pieces to fab up yet before I put the rocker on. Taking longer then I hoped but at least its getting done.

Thank you, I'm definitely getting some time on the welder!

The bottom A pillar was salvageable, had to make some patches and re-fit to the pillar.

Rocker panel is on and fit! I ran out of shielding gas so will have to put the finishing touches down next time.
