Re: 1967 Chevy CST aka "the loud truck"

Well I'm getting ready to place a big order from CPP and I'm assuming shipping would be cheaper if I just ordered all at the same time? So should be getting that done pretty soon

Re: 1967 Chevy CST aka "the loud truck"

be sure to check the prices on ebay and see if they will price match...usually a much better deal and they sell display parts very cheap from time to time....

Rear disc brake tab kit
63-87 front sway bar lowered brackets
Thinking about going with there drop center crossmember in black... Maybe

Re: 1967 Chevy CST aka "the loud truck"

I found that summit sells the same spindles for 230 instead of 240 and that cpp on eBay sells the c notch kit for 105 instead of 120 so there's already 25 bucks I can put towards shipping I guess. Having a hard time finding the front lowered sway bar brackets, upper front shock support brackets and the deluxe trac bar I haven't found those yet still searching to see if there sold cheaper or not... And I've been keeping progress on the 67 even though I'm waiting for/to get the cpp parts.... I absolutely could not take it anymore, the red on the middle of the dash was just nasty! I guess Orr lac hot rod flat black primer and gloss red rustoleum paint DO NOT get along.... So I finally fixed my old mistake.... I've got some pretty good hours in sanding it most of those corners and crevices are a pain in the ass but nonetheless I sanded it down and it came out well! Tomorrow I'll throw the dash back together and then go for a drive since I haven't driven it in a day or two. ALSO I found a (at least I think so) better orange for the needles on the gauges so I repaint end the needles. Anyways here's pictures

Re: 1967 Chevy CST aka "the loud truck"

Just ordered my drop spindles and a couple other parts! When they come in I'm going to get new rotors and bearings for the front so there all new and those are the last of the brake parts on my truck that are original/older so I'll be waiting them to install!

Re: 1967 Chevy CST aka "the loud truck"

Didn't do much to the 67 today except for drive it and take some pictures with the 68 4wd I have. BUT can't get mad that I sacrificed work on the c10, since I worked on the k10 instead

Well I finally scraped off the house paint from under the hood, I only scraped off the paint from the 2 braces the go up and down I still need to do the inner structures up at the front and at the rear though, but either way it looks much better!
