Re: Die-cast 67-72
I like having both and glad to see the Fleetsides coming on. All the Fleetsides were longbeds, except this oversized ones TIS did. My gripe is the color anodized-look rims. No one runs wheels like that on trucks.

Re: Die-cast 67-72
Some clear or smoked windows would have been better, but I love the black interior and base.

Re: Die-cast 67-72
Am I the only one that didn't realize Greenlight has two different castings - one for '67-'68 and another for '69-'72?
I was looking at my collection the other day, wishing they had a truck painted hugger orange with a white top, and realized the hoods on the '68s were more slanted than the '72s. I've always appreciated GL's attention to detail on these 1/64 diecasts, but didn't realize they went that far.

Re: Die-cast 67-72
How about a Migetoy? I nabbed this vintage wrecker toy. They were like little Tootsietoy knock-offs once Tootsie started making knock-offs of matchbox cars.

Nice! I nabbed one of those a few years back at a local tractor show.

Re: Die-cast 67-72
I was scrolling down, saw the Zamak one, realized I still haven't gotten any, thought I better start lookin', then saw what you just posted. So I guess I should say I'll take you up on the offer. let me know what I need to send and where and I will be a happy pappy.
I dropped into a flea market today when my sister called. I hadn't talked to her since she got back from NM so we were chatting it up while I walked around lookin'. I looked in a crate from a carry case and spied a yellow tailgate of a HW Custom 69. Pulled it out and it was that one from a set with red tinted windows and "69" graphic. You never even see those on Ebay and I definitely wanted it. but I was talkin' to Sis and wondered around more. When we hung up I went back to get it and in that little time it was gone! It wasn't even busy there. Couldn't have been 5 minutes. Someone must have seen it when I pulled it out and ran over there. Ya snooze ya loose

Re: Die-cast 67-72
I had a really good weekend scoring Hot wheels. My daughter found me 11 Walmart zamac 67's on Saturday night. I gave a few away to my buddy. I'll use the rest for customs. Then we attended a local diecast toy show and scored a few more treasures for little money. I was pretty happy. I found a 2010 10 pack 62 still in the box and another 4x4 83 Silverado. I needed one to open. Then I picked up a few more to customize for a little change. My little display is being overrun by Chevrolet trucks. Guess it's time to make another one.

Re: Die-cast 67-72
If nobody else wants one, I'll take two so I can open one and be anal with the other .
And, thanks for being a good guy for offering. I was down the road for (which is east toward Baltimore where I don't really like to go) for business in the next town down with a Walmart (mine's lame) yesterday. They shut the Walmart down there, which I thought was crazy because it's the only commerce center for that whole area. Then someone told be they built a Super Walmart farther down where they tore out the old shopping center. Never been down there, so I figured it was time to check for one of these '67s. That place is huge! Well, I hike a couple miles to the other side and their rack looked no better than Mt. Airy's. They had a dump bin also, you could about see the bottom. Oh well. That's when a feller comes up (pretty serious collector) and starts talking how lame that store is. Apparently he is on the search quite a bit, and he builds neat customs he showed me on his phone. He was telling me he had better luck at Dollar Tree and even better at a Supermarket down there. BTW, he drives an '81 Chevy Truck and I told him about this place. So, if you're lookin', "Howdy do? And welcome to the site!" I got my cheap oil and left

Re: Die-cast 67-72
The LA Hot Wheels convention was this past weekend and they always preview upcoming releases. The '67 will return to the mainline for 2017 with at least 2 colors. The one shown in this image is the Super Treasure Hunt. I've been told it's supposed to be the F case Super, which would probably put it appearing around March or April.

Re: Die-cast 67-72
I'm ready to add another one to the collection along with the 83 in 2017. I'm sure both will be hard to get.

Re: Die-cast 67-72
The Super Treasure Hunt version shown in that picture will be very hard to find. I'm sure I'll have to resort to eBay to get that one. The non-Super counterpart shouldn't be too terribly hard to get a hold of.

Re: Die-cast 67-72
I just found a single Stars & Stripes '67 at a Walmart on Sunday. I didn't expect to find one of those.

Re: Die-cast 67-72
Nice. I probably should have picked more of them up than the 3 I have. It's been a while since I've seen any, but they were warming the pegs for a little while here.

I couldn't remember if I already had any or not. But the policy is "see one/buy one" here

I found this one today. It's not the Super Treasure Hunt, but I'll take it. I'm sure I'll have to resort to eBay for the Super.

Ya, got mine a while back. 2 carded Supers, 3 short cards and 3 unspun. These are great looking pieces.
