Re: My 52 GMC Build
Hey, nice score on the engine and cool ornament! If I remember correctly, that is a 92 on up engine since it has the serpentine belt set up. It looks like it has a ZF5 hooked to it too. I have had really good luck with those things.

Re: My 52 GMC Build
Nice score on the engine. I would just throw a fresh set of sparkplugs in there and run it like it is.

Re: My 52 GMC Build
So last weekend my youngest son, gf and dog pulled the trailer to Jalopy Jam up. It's a pre 64 traditional hot rod and custom weekend show. The weather wasn't great but we had a blast, live bands and you can shoot flames or rev the crap out your engine if you want. Nothing like hearing a blown big block with open headers at 6000rpm. Oh and lots of beautiful cars and trucks.
My son felt like a gangster in the old F*@d that was driven 2 hours to the show.

Re: My 52 GMC Build
Very cool! Those flame shows are pretty wild. You really need to see one in person to get the coolness of it.

Re: My 52 GMC Build
Tomorrow we are going to Northern Showdown in Milton. It is a fun custom show with lot's going on and a limbo contest that I will be the first looser again this year lol. It is a charity event for "Make a wish", which makes it even better.

Re: My 52 GMC Build
We drove all over southern Ontario this weekend, truck ran great. 280mi and got 21mpg
Saturdays show was great, met up with a bunch of people and cruised to the show with them. I was the first looser in the limbo again, but it's fun. Took home a top 75 plaque and a bucket of Armor-all products.
