Re: SoCal checkin' in
For those that did not know I now have a 3rd project, a 1965 Chevy Impalla.
Just going to clean it up a bit, and add some disc brakes and chrome a few parts here and there. Not a C-10, but I still qualify for a Chevy Only sticker. |

Re: SoCal checkin' in
When its done you can pick it up and borrow it and roll out anytime you want. Just bring it back with at least a 1/4 tank of gas.

Re: SoCal checkin' in
I've always been a fan of the 65-67 Impallas. Good move.

Re: SoCal checkin' in
We had a great time. Great venue, great people, great weather and the only thing missing was you...and Vince. When I look at those pictures I don't see your truck...or Vince's truck. I don't remember you saying you would be there but Vince...what happened to Vince? I remember seeing Schwinn (Steve), John Oro, Tremane (I hope In spelled that right)and Dano but I walked all over that place lookin' for Vince...but alas no Vince.

Re: SoCal checkin' in
I say we go pay Vince a visit. I'll bring some bar-b-q-in' type meat, maybe someone bring some potato salad and some bar-b-q beans. Then maybe he'll let us all wrench on his impala and his gmc, then when we tire out we can sit around and tell lies the rest of the night...

Re: SoCal checkin' in
I was talking to a relative I have in Escondido, his father and mother died within a week of each other last month, and he wants to sell his father's '65 Buick Skylark.
I'm going back down on Wednesday to check it out. I'll take some pics and post them in this thread. From what I understand this thing is bone stock, original paint, straight body with all of the trim, etc. Anyone from SoCal (or anyone from Escondido) interested in this? Let me know. We can meet at his house. Dano
