That 72 K20 looks pretty solid, all nice except the black grill, cool daily driver.

Re: post your 67-72 4x4
Hey. It's been way too long since I posted anything on mine.
1969 GMC K1500 LBW -- 350 (stock bore, 71 block, 4bolt), 305 53cc heads, Edelbrock 1406, Performer intake, FloTech headers, Comp Cams 4x4 Extreme cam, stock internals, 1" spacer, 2 1/4" dual exhaust with turbo mufflers, stock exits. -- TH350 with a NP208 transfer case (came out of 85 truck, but wasn't original.lol) -- 3.08 12 bolt front and rear (out of same 85 Chevy) -- Non A/C, AM radio (never worked), originally was a red/orange 4spd truck built in Fremont, painted VW Reflux Silver Metallic in 2009, but faded within 2 years. Wanting to do some digging around to see the trucks history. -- Was my very first vehicle in 2009 in Colorado, met my wife in 2013 with it, sat for 3 years after we moved to Florida, went back up to Colorado and drove it all the way back to Florida in 2017, has been our daily driver since. Lot of plans for it. Here is my most recent picture of Silver

Re: post your 67-72 4x4
My 72 GMC daily driver - Been working on him for 5 years. Swapped in a zz454 with Fitech EFI, msd ignition, 200hp shot of nitrous, motorized exhaust cutouts, lightning rods shifter, all new doors, hood and fenders and beefed up tranny. This spring I am putting in posi and fixing up the suspension and taking it to the drag strip for the first time and last time just to see what he will do. Should put out at least 600hp at the crank. Hoping to be somewhere around 12.5 - 13.0 secs? Learned so much from this board.

Re: post your 67-72 4x4
Long time lurker, first post. Here's my 72 K20 I've been working on the past few months. Picked it up right after New Years and I've been going through it ever since. Finally got the suspension and tires on after a lot of not so glamorous work like rebuilding the brakes, wheel bearings and seals, steering box and linkage etc. Still needs quite a bit to get back to it's former glory but it's a fun project.

10BamBam01, very nice truck! You better be careful at the strip other wise you'll break the axles. It's also nice to see another member in Iowa!
Bcash, sweet K20! I have a soft spot for orange ones, and K's.

Nothing wrong with that! I'm always looking for another one. 1 just isn't enough.

Re: post your 67-72 4x4
A recent pic hauling sod with my 70. Original engine, auto tranny have run great but hopefully an upgrade coming in the next 18 months. That and I need to replace the original leaf springs and shocks. Any suggestions on replacement suspension (I heard Tuff Country's kit was awesome) welcome!

Re: post your 67-72 4x4
I installed the tuff country ez ride 2.5 inch lift about a year ago. It has performed well. Decent ride, and it only took my son and I a day to put it in. I also upgraded to the nitro shocks.

My neighbor took some pictures of my '72 the other day. This was probably the best shot.
