Re: Post Your Ride 67-72 Trucks
hey there
been lurking for awhile. Grew up driving a 68 c10, have had a couple others (67,70, 65) over the years just sold this to my brother ....all orig. paint CA truck and picked up this...67, 42k all orig paint, 283, 3spd rust free WI truck trying to decide what to do with it. Nothing irreversible...probably just clean it up a bit, lowered with some nice steelies. along the lines of my old truck.. |

Razr, give us a full profile shot of your truck. I'd like to see your wheels/tires better. What size are the wheels/tires and what kind of tires are you sporting?

Re: Post Your Ride 67-72 Trucks
I figure it's about time to post some pics my recent purchase... it's a 1969 CST 2wd SWB. At this time you can find more information about this purchase by following this link.

Re: Post Your Ride 67-72 Trucks
Here is my current truck.... It is a two owner rig. The previous owner in the 90's had all the rust repaired, trans rebuilt, motor rebuilt, seat recovered, new dash pad and compartment door, new seat belts, new pedals, and the list goes on and on. This guy took real good care of it. The best part is I got a pile of receipts documenting everything. There is no slop in the steering at all and it has power sterring, brakes not to mention disc's in the front. The wndow sticker indicates that it had factory installed "Camper Kit" like heavy springs, stabalizer bars, trans cooler etc. So I guess it was a half ton camper special... it even has the camper wiring in the bed from the factory.
I bought it because I used to have a GMC years ago but I really want a Suburban or a Chevy version of the same truck. I think it would be a shame to reclip it. Let me know your thoughts. I am looking to sell it for $3,000 or partial trade. Last edited by Sixtyninewest; 02-15-2009 at 03:19 PM. |
