I just found out my old truck is going to be on the t-shirt for a local car show! Six months since I sold it and I'm starting to miss it.

I haven't seen it lately, but I know he has redone the interior and made some other changes.

Cal...finally made it thru your thread and have to say..you and Bam have been a huge inspiration. Always wanted to paint my truck prowler orange and then saw yours! Not sure what to do now lol...sorry you sold it but I love the Chevelle and that color is amazing too. Was the orange factory or did you add pearl or??? to it? Thanks again for the inspiration!!

It's been a long time since I checked my old build page and look and see what my buddy Kabwe found! I try not to think about my old truck to much because when I do I miss it. Good to see it again though!

Re: 58 GMC Project

I don't get back to the forum much anymore since this thread has gone quiet. I'm subscribe to this thread and a couple of others. I only visit when I get email notifications.

I haven't seen another truck build as nice as this one. I'd love to subscribe to another build thread similar to this one.

Re: 58 GMC Project

Cal - I guess I can't really add anything more than what everyone has already said along the way during this build other than.... INCREDIBLE BUILD!

Im glad I found it here; in searching images over the years for '55-59 Chevy trucks your truck has come up alot. It is like a 'fixture' for the essence of a true custom chevy truck now and I think I can speak for the entire amateur customizer world of builders that you have created a true work of automotive art.

The Pros like Kindig, Foose, Coddington, Mayer, Steuer and Shine should be proud that somebody can put something like this together in such great detail.

Hats off to you Sir for some great inspiration for all of us "Homey-Builders"!

Thank You
