Very nice wp . that would hurt a little to remove the shine but I dig the no shine look under the hood. build it hot and paint it stock !

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread
satin is in
Unless it's chrome I don't like polished under the hood. It's never a mirror polish so it always looks dirty/scratched to me anyways... And chrome only used sparingly... ...now billet specialties items....those look nice polished.....but are $$$$$$$$$$

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread
well the block is going to end up silver so i thought it might look cool to contrast it a little with satin finished aluminum !! my March pulley set up is powdercoated black

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread
hmmm...then i might recommend the same for the pump then. It's smooth so it'll look really good painted. And will not stick out but blend nicely and then the black/silver contrast will be nice and sharp with no other colors involved.....just my humble opinion

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread
Great to see some progress and to hear you are getting excited in the project again.
I know I have lost motivation on mine quite a few times. It might be a little easier to stay focused if I didn't have five project vehicles going all at the same time.

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread
Hope these do provide you with the funds needed to finish up your truck. I know you've been working hard on them and deserve a break to get your truck finished!!!

Nice work on the inner fender blanks. It looks like a real cool design. I think you will get some $$ back out of the deal. Nice!
