Re: SoCal checkin' in
If my trans issues get sorted out then I want to head down. I'm hoping to bring the family but they aren't big car/truck show people.

Re: SoCal checkin' in
got my trans issue sorted out today! Stupid vacuum line. Surprisingly didn't cost an arm and a leg. I think it may have solved my weird jumping fuel gauge issue too. If the family or wife can follow along in the car, I'll be there in upland.

I have yet to take my truck to any shows or meets. I'll have to make the trip down the hill for this one.

Re: SoCal checkin' in
Take your ti me choosing the paint shop ~
Once you find one that has freshly painted rigs around that pass muster , YOU should be the one to remove lights , door handles etc. so they'll not just do a crappy masking job and piss you off later . if you decidde to leave the glass in , get some 1/4" or so wire or rope and tuck it in under the lip of your old windsheild and backlight rubbers ~ this will make it look ever so much better and slow down those peasky , rust causing leaks as well as make it possible to replace them later on after you see how bad it looks with new paint and crappy rubbers .
