Just make sure you use 1982 and newer pennies. Anything older than that is worth 2 c.
Throwing money away.

Most of us grew up in old houses that had the screw in fuses before the breaker type now common. When you blew a fuse and did not have one, a penny got you by until you could get to the hardware store.
