well i dont have the hoses for the heater and i dont have the heater box for the firewall either so when i started to fill up the radiator it started coming out of there..... what do i do? do i need to plug the one on the intake to?

You should have the one hose that comes off the water pump and the one that comes off the intake. one is 3/4 and one is 5/8... you can just put one of your heater hoses from one to the other and that is basically bypassing your heater core so you can fill it with coolant and run it. You can put a reducer in the hose or work the 5/8 over the 3/4 fitting but I recommend the reducer... you wont even have to drain it to hook up your heater later! There are heater hose pliers that are PERFECT for that!

well the coolant is all tankin care of....TANK IS FULL!!! haha. now my problem lies in the gas lines i need the fitting that goes into the fuel pump so i can hook up the pump to the carb.... and my dad said he had the wiring taken care of......guess not so if the wiring gets done and that gas line i can start it.... ANYONE WHO WOULD LIKE TO COME OVER TO SEE IT RUN,OR, TOMMOROW COME OVER AND HELP MY DAD WITH THE WIRING CAN COME OVER! i will let everyone here on the thread know when it is time to come over. if the wiring and gas stuff gets taken care of then it will start tommorow....

well timing is DONE!!!!!!!!!! got all the spark plugs set and got the #1 piston at ''top dead center'' and got the distibutor set at the 7:00 position... worked good and was fast! i love hei
