Re: Kabwe's aka Bam's build
BAM, Months ago you posted that you bought a Miller Diversion 180 TIG welder. You loved it then....how do you feel now? Would you buy it again?

Re: Kabwe's aka Bam's build
Actually that was more like two years ago.lol I need to finish this truck.lol Anyway for a home and hobby builder its a nice machine. Are there better tigs machine out there? Yes. But for a home builder I love this little easy to setup and start running beads on steel, stainless, or aluminum machine. So the answer to your question is yes I'm still in love with my new girlfriend.lol

Man I have not touched that truck in a while. I've been very busy with my family duties lately. I will get back to it soon hopefully.

Need some help, maybe we can all come over and knock out the list so you can get back to being "the truck whisperer"

Re: Kabwe's aka Bam's build
good for you man. Family time is something you can never get back so spend as much time as you need bud. After all, building these machines is nothing but a hobby or bad habit. It'll always be there when you have time to get back to it. Take care of you and yours first!

Yeah I do work in IT but in a college Library and we had a nutcase come on campus and killed some people and shot at me along with 8 other people. By the way I did not get shot but how I did not get hit is also amazing. Last edited by Kabwe; 07-30-2013 at 01:11 PM. |

Re: Kabwe's aka Bam's build
Bam,
I was gonna post a teaser soon but then I realized the issue probably was related to the shooting. We all like your work but what makes it special and interesting to us is that your photos are good and your personality comes through in your words. Take your time and enjoy EVERY moment. You ACTUALLY "dodged a bullet" - or many bullets. Smell the roses dude, you DEFINITELY deserve to! Posted via Mobile Device

Re: Kabwe's aka Bam's build
Sorry Kabwe, my friends went out of town 2 weeks ago and I had a crash course on watching/taming their not so friendly dogs(don't like anyone outside family prone to bite strangers). I sent them pictures of their dogs acting like babies in my lap and they sent me a text calling me a "dog whisperer" classic but still more pics please. lol

Re: Kabwe's aka Bam's build
It's good to have you here in one piece Kabwe. When you are finished whispering to your truck, I will let you talk to mine. All it wants to be right now is a pile of parts. Awe who am I kidding?, house repairs and kids have me tied down as well.
