thanks for lookin, been a really fun build, but I have struggled to keep on task at times

The problem with the '68 trim is the radius of the rear wheel well is not the same as the trucks, so I have to tweak it a little. Not sure how that will turn out...we shall see

Always liked the '67 '68 front ends, just simple style with a bit of bling

I hope so also, as that edge will be my paint color divider. Something like the 50th anniversary, only green instead of the gold

Off Road Design.com good stuff, but I have to try and bend the shifters at a 45 degree angle

Re: PO has me PO'd

for the longest time I didn't know why I was leaking tranny fluid here, I was playing with my 'K' case TH350 and noticed these brass fittings. Seems like the PO didn't want to put back the strait threaded adapters, and just threaded the inverted flare fittings into the trans. Still have to get some crush washers, but for now just used some thread sealer. The adapters were tight going in, so I hope I didn't put any threads down into the tranny

oh BTW, problem with the shifters on the twin stick, have to cut and bend or cut and weld or machine a block and bore and weld...

It's not hard to be determined when your workshop is attached to your house and its 70 degrees in there at all times

Hope I entertained you after all the reading ya did. We use salt on our roads in the winter and it just eats the trucks up. Thank goodness for patch panels

I hate grinding!!!!

Re: PO has me PO'd

finally foumd a place to mount the solenoids for my winch, not to much modification to the mount

picked up the new corrected dist. cap from Accel, now all my spark plug wires from the left bank and right bank will stay to each side of the engine. Also, scored a NOS interior light (it's for a pickup, but should fit the 1/2 top), and my brackets for mounting my AM radio...thanks board members
