Have fun, I won't be doing much in my shop either (now), the compressor motor caught on fire today in the middle of priming my hood.

That really sucks. Hopefully nothing else was damaged. Mine gets really hot. This past week while I was running it so much, I put a fan blowing on it to circulate some air. It sits back in the corner.

Re: My 1965 build thread

I really enoyed my break. I went almost 6 days with out internet and it was so nice. I remember how simple life was before the internet. I need to revisit that more often. Anyway, went to the local car show today here is a LINKY to some pix. Also got to meet jsmithbm at the show and he came up to see my pile.

Since you put it that way, I guess I don't have a choice. I need some inspiration myself. After going to the show yesterday it lit a little fire. These body guys showing off their stuff and I have nothing to show. What sucks is it's taking time away from my family. What should I do. Follow my dreams or be a better dad and husband? I know it's a deep subject.

Family always comes first. End of story. But if she knows how important your project is to you, she should understand. At least your at home doing it, and not some where else having a beer with the guys.

Alan I know what you mean. Me and my wife are always going at it about my truck. Sometimes she wants to work on it, but most of the time she wants to sell it.

I was looking on CL tools the other day and ran across a rotisseri (sp) for $400 a half mile from my work. It was at a restoration shop and the guy was retiring. I wish I had known sooner maybe I could have worked for him to learn more about the restoration side of the business and possibaly bought him out. Anyway the rotisseri is home made and should do the job. If not I can sell it and get my money back. I couldn't have bought the metal for that price. While there he had these dollies for $40 now they are mine. He has a 14X24 cross draft booth and mixing room for $5000/booth and 2500/mixing room. He took great care of his equipment. I just can't afford that kind of stuff yet. Here are the dollies.

I used a medium urethane reducer. I cut it about 10% if that. I don't have the can in front of me right now. I don't know if it's right, but the stuff is hard to spray unless it's cut with something. I'll try to read the label and see what it says tommorow.

Hate you had troubles with it. Once you figure it out I think you will like it. What size tip are you using? Did you ever get the PPS cups or was that scott that said he was getting them?
