What is the backspacing on the rear wheels? I really like how close the wheel/tire is to the bedside. Really looks clean that way.

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread

the back wheels are 22x10's with 7 1/2 inches of backspacing, but i am running a billet spacer with a 69 up rearend , i couldnt see spending the BIG BUCKS....that it takes to get these kind of wheels custom made to exactly what i wanted so i made these work with the setup i have , bought them on this board in the for sale section...THANKS VA72c10 once again, I LOVE my wheels

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread

did i mention how much i love having my truck at home ..... only had about 1 hour to work on it last night but i started with the used Painless wiring i got from a board member, and stripped all of the tape and loom off it, stripped the wires i didnt need from the engine compartment, and started temporarily routing the wires so i can figure out lengths and routing paths !! It was great if i can get just 1 hour of stuff done a day ...it is MOVING FORWARD !!

What do you have in mind for accessing the anchor bolt for the harness connector? Maybe a tip down access panel so you can get at the anchor bolt but still have it out of sight when not needed.

The panel could cover the whole vent opening to seal it off too.

no it will run through it, completely concealed !! all wire except for the ones running to the absolute necessary stuff will be hidden, along with ac and heater hoses

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread

yeterday i stopped by a swap meet the first pic is what i couldnt pass up for $10 buckaroos, mocking up my vintage air so i can figure out where to put my computer brain, and where to run my fuel injection wiring out of the firewall (i am thinking in the middle right behind the distributor), then got the box put back in working on getting everything set so i can start stretching the fleece on it to make all of the contours ! oh brought the painless wiring to work with me today to start cleaning it up and checking all of the wires on it !

Nice score on the valve covers.

The speaker box looks great.

How did the speaker box "bend" around the corners? I can't really see how you did that from the pic.

BTW what engine are you looking putting in?
