Thats sick man. I like how you put the bed on just for the photo op. Lookng really good. Now if I could just get my cab on too. Ooh yeah, I did! Glad we are both making good progress. We'll have to start planning that middle of the U.S. meet we've been talikng about to show these off! Congrats on the progress. Keep it up.

That would be so awesome to have a major meet here in the middle somewhere. To see some of these sweet trucks from each coast in person!!!

Sweet, shoot, my truck doesn't look anywhere as nice as Dennis' truck. I'll just be glad to have it going again.

Re: Finally "Silvers" build thread!! ('78 swb 2wd silverado)

looks good Dennis nearly fell off my bed with my computer on my lap, when I saw the cab on the frame since it looks so good. I can't wait to the ls swap in my truck my but I can't decided if I want to do a total rear end over haul with disc brakes and a new chrome master cylinder and booster first or after

thanks Aaron! i'd get the swap done 1st imo... lots of little things start adding up with the swap. You can always go back and do the rearend and brakes.

Re: Finally "Silvers" build thread!! ('78 swb 2wd silverado)

thanks for all the comments guys!

i'm waiting on the firewall grommet so i can drill the hole and get the ecm and everything into the cab. been sanding and disassembling the column to have painted. next on the buying list is a new steering shaft and gauges. i'm going with the autometer ultra-lite II's. then its on to the wiring!! can wait til she fires up with the key

after that its onto the brakes, driveshaft, shift cable(?), and exhaust

Cant wait till she runs buddy! You not wanting to run the Lokar shift linkage? Just curious because I saw the question mark in tour last post. Mine works great! Same as PCMcobra used too.
