Re: SoCal checkin' in
Well I had threw out mid July or sometime in August. Guess we need to look at some dates, find a spot to meet before the cruise. Think about where were going, points of interest. Any ideas from you guys will work. |

Re: SoCal checkin' in
Suggest you pick a date and float it, I would suggest two dates, this one or this one and start a new thread. Once you get buy-in, then freeze it. You'll never get everyone to agree due to schedules and vacations but this needs to get on everyones calenders early or you'll get lots of no shows. Once the date gets set then it's time to pick a starting point, breakfast and Lunch spots, dinner if there's enough interest. Maybe Breakfast is the starting point? There's a big enough area that there will likely be multiple starting points with everyone meeting for Breakfast. Hope the local guys will scope out and suggest the best spots, make arrangements if we get a big group. Maybe a few side stops? Will need a map and approximate times for late comers. This one will take lots of planning.

I agree, I will pick a few dates and then post it. Guys local to the San Diego and surrounding areas, it would help if you could post some points of interest and eatting spots, etc etc. Or we could all meet for breakfast before the cruise. Again im going to put something together then post it in the California Section. |

Re: SoCal checkin' in
I'm in for this. Suggest planned stops for gas, maybe one half way down one there and one half way back up so the group doesn't split up too much. I can only get about 100-140 miles per tank.

I think most os us are in bout the same boat on gas mileage. But if any needs to stop sooner that will work. Again seeing that we have members from all over SoCal we will have to find a meeting spot thats suitable for most. |

Re: SoCal checkin' in
Anyone going to the Long Beach swap meet tomorrow? I've got a set of inner fenders out of my 67 that I've got to get rid of. Good shape, just taking up space in my shop and I'm not going to use them.
I'll have some C/10 Club openers with me too. Posted via Mobile Device |

Re: SoCal checkin' in
Looking to get $150 for the set. I have the additional piece to go around the steering linkage as well. I'll throw in a bottle opener with them.

Re: SoCal checkin' in
I'm in Pasadena and so can easily drive to wherever you are , just not to - morrow .
Are those inner fenders the same '67 ~ '72 ? . (my catalog isn't handy to check) Mine has a big rust hole right below the battery .

Re: SoCal checkin' in
They look to be the same, but I'm not 100% sure. I'd like to keep them together as a set.

Re: SoCal checkin' in
Oops ~
I meant the bottle opener , I can get the inner fenders locally . I'm just curious of they're the same from '76 ~ '72 . I can't make it to- morrow , either I get some rest or I'm going to go toes up .

Re: SoCal checkin' in
Thanks guys I really appreciate all the wonderful words. I feeling really blessed and very lucky. My heart goes out to all those who were not as lucky as I was.
Yes hopped up too many crazys that is for sure, but they never will outnumber the wonderful kind people in the world. Its a beautiful show of love by the students, staff, faculty, and community going out at the college right now. Flowers, candles, cards, decoration on trees with letters from everyone that was touch by this. We can never forget that we outnumber the monsters out there. |

Re: SoCal checkin' in
Still trying to iron out the details on the San Diego run. Any San Diego members can weigh in on places to eat or points of interest would help.
Looking for places that have nice size parking lots. |
