Thanks and yeah it will be red soon, on the inside at least. As long as these 60-70 degree days keep coming.

Re: 1969 Short Wide

Letting the dust fly....

Note to self: make sure you have the stand positioned under the hood frame not the sheet metal. notice the big white low spots....

Started working on my engine wiring pass-through cover. I got this design from Crash_OK. (thanks Mark).LINK HERE I had to tweak the back with a belt sander a little to fit the contour of the cab. I may end up making a rubber gasket to project the paint after final assembly. The rubber grommet is a standard clutch boot. It will be cut to fit too.

I got the cover polished a little this morning. Needs just a little more elbow grease but it's close.

Thanks, I am getting pretty close to wet sanding. That's always a good sign.
I hope to have more custom things in the future.

Thanks Mark. Yes, I think I will be ready to lay some paint by the end of Feb. maybe sooner. I'm getting really close to wet sanding the inside of the cab and inside of the fenders and doors.

I have to paint the bottom of the hood soon too, before I get too carried away on the top side.

Thanks for stopping by Heath. I feel like I'm on the home stretch. If I could just finish the paint, then round up the money to get this puppy on the road....
