not everything on my truck is NOS, but where I find a good deal, I'll take it! Found a perfectly good used Unity spotlight for a 1/4 the price of NOS. I'm trying to make my truck look like it might have survived 40 years, so I can't have to much shiny stuff on it

Re: PO has me PO'd
I saw it available years ago, but the product didn't sell well. I looked for some old stock, but couldn't find any. Then one Saturday morning while watching TRUCKS!, it came up on the advertising, ordered it rite away, and it still took two weeks to get it. Should clean up my wires always hated them running all over the place...yeah, I know, anal

Re: PO has me PO'd
got the intake gaskets on...felpro 1255. Bolts sealed and torqued to 11 ft. lbs. Black RTV used top and bottom, 4 corners got an extra portion at the block
now, on to the cooling, see if the electric water pump works

Re: PO has me PO'd
I'm almost to ashamed to show the pics, the more I think about...
2 sets of Vortec intake gaskets....................100 brand new vortec intake..............................177 GMPP vortec intake, B/C I broke the edlebrock 300 ------------------------------------------------ plus 500 of my money that I didn't get to spend B/C I had to replace the broken parts 1,000 Wifey says to me this morning, thank goodness you don't screw up very often SNAFU/ almost FUBAR...all because of galling Spiral easy out hairline crack due to force on the intake from the easy out

Man, sorry to see that.
but I was picturing the truck rolling down a hill out of the garage or something so it's not as bad as my imagination
