Re: Kabwe's aka Bam's build
Yeah it would have made a great towel bar. I have to ask my wife to if she would like that.

Re: Kabwe's aka Bam's build
Wifey got you busy again, trust me we all understand. I still got a kitchen to finish. Now the way you did the bumper was different than how I have seen it done. Your way seemed to be easier than what I've seen.
Thanks for the DIY. |

Re: Kabwe's aka Bam's build
You are here also.lol Man you get around.
Thanks buddy, I can't wait to finish this bathroom so that I can get some work done on the truck. I think I earned a lot of points with the wife since you uses the shower now. She is singing and dancing, but if I don't finish the rest of the bathroom soon that singing and dancing will turn to screaming and cursing.lol Last edited by Kabwe; 10-31-2013 at 05:32 PM. |

Re: Kabwe's aka Bam's build
BAM, do you happen to have any pictures of when you welded the seams around your doors? I am at that point and I would like to see the process of someone that has already done it. Thanks.

Re: Kabwe's aka Bam's build
I did not weld up the seams around the door. I did weld all the interior seams inside the cab.

Re: Kabwe's aka Bam's build
Okay Thanks. The Shot of your doors look so smooth it appeared that they had been welded. Are they just smoothed out with Duraglass?

LOL. Jack of all trades and master of none I guess. I do and learned all this stuff because I'm poor man. I can't afford to pay people to do things I can do myself. I did not want to do the bathroom I remodel our kitchen about 4 years ago. I got some estimates from other people for the bathroom and I said thats crazy I can do it myself. I spent about 1/4 of what it would have cost. My wife knew this and set me up.lol She knew once I heard the price I would do it myself which she wanted in the first place. If you are interested in seeing the bathroom project the pics are on my flickr page. I gutted everything it was a frame off build.lol http://www.flickr.com/photos/bam55/s...7636942980914/ I'm almost finished I just have paint, installing new hardware on the cabinets, and light fixtures. Once that is done back on the truck with a seriousness. Last edited by Kabwe; 11-22-2013 at 02:11 PM. |

Man you are having fun driving your truck and going on power tours. I wish I was in your shoes. Ogre you know no matter how well we build them we always will find something we wish we would have done.
