Ya Rat's nest for sure but all of them just have a style that you can't find anymore today, the body lines on all of them are just so

I would like to put the running gear from a 3/4 ton mid 70s gm 4x4 under my 3/4 ton 50' gmc, but I'm not sure if it'll be too wide.

Re: How about some pics of 47-59
this is a project i (and my friend) found the other day.
its a runner. i love it already. but the deal is we cant keep it. when i get it home this weekend, ill post more pics and start a build thread. when i divide up the parts budget and make a few decisions, ill let you all know. (and for the record, i still have the 69 and drive it everyday) all the rust is on top of the metal and looks worse in the photo than it is, it just got here (or.coast) from idaho. ill be needing two fenders. i know this, job one will be getting that blasted canopy off. and that rear bumper. well. im just a poor guy who can weld and mechanic. and built a few cars and bikes. he is a car guy, but i talked him into getting this and a small budget, and do a little turnaround. nothing original about that, but i think this one is a slam dunk. its all orig. except for seats. not 1 extra hole in the fire wall. the dash is perfect and the interior factory paint looks fresh with a little wax and rub. i love it but it has to be a job.

Re: How about some pics of 47-59
Here are a few pics of a 58 Cameo that my friend/painter is working on. As much as I like bagged hot rodded trucks there is something so cool about an all original/restored truck. While I was there I helped them hang the hood. They are waiting on one headlight adjuster and a hood adjustment and it is done.
They let me fire it up while I was there. It runs so smooth and sounds nice and quiet. Marc
