I am looking for the correct 1969-1972 dog dish hubcaps if anyone has any for sale or could point me to some that would be great. Using the later model hubcaps for now. I would even take 4 without hole for front hub and just driver quality. New member just getting started.

You're not the only one... Check over in the classifieds section there are often caps posted there. They are going for a pretty penny these days! Also welcome to the forum, and nice Blazer!

Re: Whose on Steelies? Post 'em up!

Agreed. This thread was the deciding factor for putting 15" steelies on my truck instead of going with something bigger. Here's a few of mine to contribute. Stock 15x6 front with 215/75s and 15x8 rears with 235/75s. Any way you run them, steelies will always look right on these trucks!

Thumbs up K Series Suburbans

In the mid 1960's I logged so many miles in one of these, a '64 IIRC, it had the 250 i6 and Muncie SM465 box .

We had another that was our primary plow rig in winter, it was badly rusted by 1968 but soldiered on .

Re: Whose on Steelies? Post 'em up!

Love hearing this from those that were using them as intended when they were "new". This one is a Bell Systems Telephone fleet vehicle, well maintained and taken care of but used hard. 292 I6, SM420

Smile Re: Whose on Steelies? Post 'em up!

I was a rural farm boy in the 1960's good times mostly .

Trucks were an important part of daily life, never coddled, we ran them hard and put them up wet .

That was what cemented my love of i6 powered light duty trucks .
