Wow the truck looks great Rob. Have you thought about painting the middle of the grill black?

Still tweaking the front sheet metal, but we did get the grill and bumper installed. Lots of work to make it fit and look right, but well worth it in the end.

What bulkhead did you use for your a/c lines coming through the firewall? Does vintage air make one for the sure fit kits? I can't seem to find one that matches up with the template that comes with the kit.

Vintage Air doesn't make a bulkhead fitting for the Sure-fit kit. So I made one myself, (it's just a piece of 1/8th aluminum). I also had to change the ends of the hard lines (if you go back a few pages I have pictures of everything). I talked to VA about offering this as an option (I even offered to send them my lines for patterns), but they weren't interested...

VA doesn't seem to be interested in anything above and beyond what they are doing. I had a similar interaction with them with an idea I had that would make life easier!

That's kinda what I was thinking. I guess their thoughts are, "Why fix it if it's not broke..." and I get it. However, it wouldn't cost much to make it a cleaner looking and an easier install. OBTW, love the attention to detail on yours, keep it up

We had to pull the hood to put the cowl piece back on. Hopefully tonight the hood will go back on for the last time. This will wrap up the front sheet metal and then I can concentrate on finishing the interior.

OBTW, I'm looking for a nice set of the plastic headliner bows and a nice OEM antennae. Please let me know if you have either as the lack of both is slowing down progress.....
