looking good! and i like the idea of making the largest tubs you can, that way there's no rubbing with tire travel. need 'em on 4WD's too. it's all about the big rubber!

Great progress. Those are going to look incredible. Can't wait to see the first set in your truck.

This truck is amazing. I love the look of it. I didn't go through all 65 pages, but am very interested in your bed. Did you ever get it done? (I am wanting to raise the bottom and run a flat wood bed as well)

unfortunately the front inners have had me a little distracted, the body work on the inside of the bed is complete the only thing left is the rear crossmember at the bottom of the tailgate !!

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread

however ...i didnt raise mine enough to make the floor totally flat i will still have a notch cover, (i raised mine 4 1/2 inches) i dont care for the look it takes to totally cover the notch , i wanted mine deeper than that, i do have a really cool idea that should make my notch cover unique !!

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread

ahh, ok. I agree with you, the beds that are only like an inch deep are not my favorite.

I'm not going as low as you body dropped guys are though.

Still keeping the stock crossmember, just going with the air ride kit.

I'll be following along with the build for sure. I love the new inner fenders. That is cool as hell

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread

lol. Ok. I dunno when i am going to start tearing mine down again. There are a lot of things i want to do to it that can be done over the weekend kind of deal, and still keep it driving. It gets the best milage out of all my vehicles, so when its not raining or snowing, I'll be driving it.

my advice dont tear it down until you have all of the stuff done that you can do and still drive it ...i am sick of all of my money sitting there and not being able to drive it!!

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread

lol..Truck will never be complete till I have some 67Cheby bolt in glass fenders though :::sigh:: on your OB1 compressors do you have alot of room to the bedside to clear? I am keeping my OB2's but didnt want to mount them directly on the frame.
