Re: Donz '65 SWB Stepper Budget Build...

Finished up painting the interior color yesterday, snapped the pics this morning before the oppressive heat kicked in... High today 98 with a heat index of 112…

Here's the same temps in Celsius for my mates across the pond…
IMG_4346 by Donald Olivo, on Flickr

Here's the interior…
IMG_4327 by Donald Olivo, on Flickr
IMG_4329 by Donald Olivo, on Flickr
IMG_4330 by Donald Olivo, on Flickr
IMG_4332 by Donald Olivo, on Flickr
IMG_4334 by Donald Olivo, on Flickr

Not perfect, but really happy with the outcome considering it is a rattle can job…

After snapping the pics, I focused on the 72…pulled the door panels to clean and paint… then the oppressive heat decided to make it's entrance...

I was thinking the same thing Clem!

Don, did you use your finger or one of those trigger attachments for spray cans? Either way, nice job! Good to see you rolling along.

Finger, I tried an attachment, but it allowed the can to spin a bit and would cause interference with the spray pattern which made for blobs of paint being splattered... I considered taping it in place but that was after I'd finished the white... I will probably use the trigger when I prime the bed and hood…. Although when I get ready for color, a friend is bringing a spray gun to help me get the color laid out...

You could never tell by looking at the pics that it was all just rattlecan. Certainly makes me feel better about doing mine in the same manner.
