I can't disagree. This was my first truck also, but it wasn't quite as nice.

The nice thing is he must appreciate the old cool trucks to want it for his first truck so a new hotrodder to the club, good work, will be with him for life.

Thanks, and your right it's an family heirloom. Since he's the last Raley, hopefully he will have a boy to pass it on to. Hopefully that'll be 10 or 15 years down the road.

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Part II

Thanks, guys. Measure ten times, order once. If you can go custom, and thank goodness I have credit, you can get the fit damn near perfect–9.5" in front and 11" in back with 275/315 17's. Couldn't be happier.

Here's a couple more shots...

Well, since you went THAT FAR (I hate to ask for wheel specs...Don't mind if someone asks ME about mine, tho ), how about the wheels b/s.... and the drop?

Hey, not at all. The truck was dropped when I purchased it. I'm guessing 4/6. Backspace for front is 5" and 5.5" on the rear. Lot's of room, no rubs.

Sharp eye, by the way!!

Man those wheels look awesome! Perfect factory look in a 17" package. Compliments the truck perfectly. I'd never have thought a 17 could look so good.

Very nice Bill. I think it falls into a new catagory.
Should we call this the stock plus look?

Thanks, Boog. That's an interesting idea. I've always liked the look of dog dish caps but I like wide rubber, too. This is what you get I guess.

Here is a better picture of the truck, just finished swapping out the Dana 44 with drum brakes to a 1987 Dana 60 with disc brakes.
