Re: PO has me PO'd
Epic fail, part #2, 1A
still scrunky, used 3/4" wire care and it slips under corrugated , with bushing taped in. Marked with paint stick to keep it aligned. Now has support

Re: PO has me PO'd
Zicc, thanks for the interest, but I may get my oil pan back up first, since the oil has drained out of the engine, I want to prime it back up thru the new oil filter and lines I installed, see what the gauge reads, and then rotate crank shaft, it seems a bit solid. Maybe put something down the bores
any work on your project or are you still traveling alot?

Jaros, I just want to say I appreciate your consistency. As a guy that works in fits and starts, I love seeing people making regular progress! How far are you from running and driving this rig?

Re: PO has me PO'd
still searching for the right position to mount gauge. using the heater control mount screw (1/4-20) I put a hex drive stud in it with a flange nut.
DON'T use slotted screws that come with the mounting kit, the screw driver will slip and gouge the mount or worse yet your dash I think I will try to use the other mounting screw for the heater control, since this location looks like it may cause problems with my shifter [url=https://flic.kr/p/2egy1VX]20190117_102220

Re: PO has me PO'd
as you can see the angle of the sport buckets have the angle wrong, so it will have to be the utility seat bracket, the keeper bracket is not on the ps, and when done will raise the seat up about 1 1/2"

Re: PO has me PO'd
I like to use a live center when tapping, keeps the threads in proper alignment
[url=https://flic.kr/p/2d8Ugv8]20190201_084147 while raceting tap Also, I like to use a rachet tap handle, pulling down on the quill , and rotate cw with tap [url=https://flic.kr/p/2d8Ugv8]20190201_084147

Re: PO has me PO'd
Thanks Jesse
Decided to put on the seat backs, ss#10x 3/4" screws, I hate phillip head screws, ordered some square drive today from Mcmaster Carr I watch a show on Utube and he says to wax paint and rusty metal with tolette bowl wax(new) ring . So for 6.00 , I thought I would try it on my seat backs. Keeps the patina I was looking for, but protects the metal from further rust [url=https://flic.kr/p/2dvKjEu]20190206_085314 pics don't want to load
