As a testimony that I will work on almost anything with wheels I submit the following. This sprinkler was my father in laws and my wife loves it. The unit needed some TLC so I decided to go all out. Changed the red/white scheme to a John Deere paint scheme, made some new bushings and now just have to put the worm gear back on the propeller shaft and put the hose connection on to complete the job.
That JD tractor sprinkler is neat.

Digging in my cellar I find buried artifacts. Mostly broken bit of dishes, shoe soles. When I first got the place there were old Mason jars half buried I started a collection with. Since I began this project I have found a fox trap and one more complete Mason jar. How I dug it up not knowing it was there without breaking it is hard to believe. I thought I hit a rock and pried it up

Here's my collection of jars
You do remarkable work on your place. It's going to be really dialed in when you put it on the market.

Funny how the state of my cellar and foundation never concerned me all these years. I considered myself done here 30 years ago. Looking at moving on I realized I couldn't expect others to accept things I have. It would have been nice if I had done this cellar work 30 years ago so it could have been more for me.

Getting set for winter. All sorts of tasty apple dishes in the comfort of wood heat.

I didn't have work last Tuesday so I poured the stem wall for the barn. Got the forms stripped and now it can cure a while. Back to digging in the cellar now.

The ash is from standing dead trees . I milled a few hundred board ft of good ash I cut off the crooked ends from the boards and just ripped them down.

Marybeth already made two more pies and is getting ready to make and can apple butter. Neighbor came by for apples yesterday he makes apple cider. This year was bumper crop with the cool wet weather we’ve had . So the deer are getting plenty .

Oooh yeah, the deer.

Today my son and I drove about 30 miles to help an elderly couple I'm doing work for move a heavy antique cabinet from the shop where they bought it to the place we've been working on for them to move into. We get to the antique shop right on time. I was so worried about making them wait it never occurred to me maybe they'd leave us waiting. I gave a call at 5 after and she says Doc left me a message they had to cancel and try tomorrow. Sheesh, I never got any message. Got home, mowed the grass

Marybeth said she heard something rattling in the back of the Envoy . Found the upper rear control arm mount rotted away . 100k rarely used in winter . Took me pretty much all day to fab up a new one

Thanks, it was a quick afternoon project. It actually does a really good job. Lay out the hose where you want it to go and the front wheel tracks the hose back.

Man that looks like a ton of fun. The rust is one thing I really don’t miss at all about the east coast.

This really isnt an east coast thing with these . Read its common problem with this model all over just like the Toyota Tacoma frames. Except Toyota took action and recalled them . Rest of the vehicle is completely rust free

I don't want to talk about it.

Taxes For Just your Business are probably a ton of fun!

I’m sure Brandon sure appreciates the revenue though!

Well, I am not tax lover by any means but, at least school taxes add value if the ISD is spending it properly. Bad schools...bad home resell.

Inventory taxes chap my bUttocks!

But, it is a wonderful day...

Our big "Do" today is waiting for Best Buy to show up with my Samsung 75" brand spankin' new in the box color TV.

My 5 year old grandson busted up his parents TV so we are donating our 3 year old 65" to soften the blow. He was having a BIG time throwing a ball around got a bit toooo rambunctious.

I am now in that boat as well with my wife and I being empty nesters but as I told my neighbor once, look at it as insurance your home value will not go down. Two things tend to hold people in an area, employment and schools. If one goes the other will follow and then home/real estate values decline.

I am with the other Larry. I just got done paying all my property taxes and every time I seem to forget about that small piece of land in Stone county, but the county sure doesn't forget!

72C20 - That Toyota a 4Runner? Sure looks like the fixed caliper setup on one if my memory serves me correct.
