Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds

Here's a truck that has been running around my area for the past year or so. I finally was able to snap some pics and talk to the owner. I'm not sure of the year, but it's a nice truck. It's equipped with a 350 with a 4 speed. It's got 3:11 in the axle, which is also a Posi unit. I told him that if he ever decides to sell it, let me know. BTW, check out how he did his rallys.

That's a pretty sharp truck. Not too wild about the thing behind the cab. Those rallies are different. Cool touch.

Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds

Here some updated pictures for you. 3/4 drop and new rubbers 255-60-15 front and 275-60-15s rear. I can't make up my mind on what wheels to buy so for now I'll keep the old ones. I might take out a leaf, not sure yet.

Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds

I actually want to drop it 1 or 2 inchs in the rear. IF I take out spring, which one do you take out? I still want to be able to haul things in it.

That "thing" is a Lund Racerback. I used to make those years ago when I was employed by Lund Industries. They also made side steps, regualr cab fairings, cab visors, HL/TL covers...and a whole slew of fiberglass bolt on parts that were all the rage in the 90's.

like the stockcar style wheels under it

Partial blame at best. Hey, back then like I said, they were the rage. Today, not so much.

Most trends come and go.
