Thanks guys, slowly but surely it's getting there. Got some more parts in today, Fesler polished billet tail lights, they are purdy I'm stocking away everything until I need it, after we get our tax money back I'll be purchasing the last of my big ticket items like a new bed kit, Accuair and new foam and covers from truck seats for my buddy buckets.

Kieth, those are some purdy tail lights. Are you going to get a bed from SoKy?

Yeah I should be ordering it by the end of the month. I'm going with their custom bedsides without the stake pockets or marker lights. I'll also be running a wood floor so I'm going to have to order all the bed parts individually instead of just buying their complete bed kit with the steel floor. I wish they would have offered a complete kit with a wood floor.

That will look nice. I checked out their bedsides without markers and no stake pockets when I was down there a couple weeks ago. I wanted to keep the marker lights since my front fenders were already painted. Those guys at SoKy were nice to deal with, I just wish they were closer. I drove 385 miles down, 385 miles back in a freakin snow storm to pick up my bed.

Unfortunately I have to pay freight charges to have it shipped here. I live too far away to go pick it up. How did the custom bedsides look, I'm going with them since I went with 67 front fenders with no marker lights.

Where did you get those lights? Can they be pigtailed?

Thank you,

The bedsides looked good, seem to to be nice quality. I really liked the custom ones without stake holes. They will look slick on your truck.

Thanks Jason, it puts my mind at ease that you seen them in person and you think they are nice. I trust your judgement looking at how beautiful your truck is.

Got some more new parts in today. I bought some restored vent windows from forum member Roger Koop. These things are extremely nice and worth every penny. Roger did a great job on these, if anybody needs new vent windows they should check out Rogers.

I wish I would have known that before I ordered aftermarket ones. They didn't fit all that great.

I was on the fence with whether to go with one piece windows, run repop vent windows or have my originals restored. After doing some research I decided I didn't want to deal with any potential fitment problems with the one piece windows plus I like the look of the vent windows better. Then I found these restored originals on the parts board and decided to give them a shot. I'm glad I did cause they look amazing.

Looking good Keith. I'm still debating on getting new bedsides now or rocking my crappy ones for this year until I get some other things straightened out. But the bed floor and everything tends to hinge on the bedsides. So I am at a crossroads. I guess go big or go home huh?
