Re: 2wd Blazer and Jimmy's find thread
That ones mine, Id love to finish it but I'm tired. My buddy and I have built 4 custom Harley's and 2 frame offs (70 442 and 69 firebird) in 3 years. We kept them all 2 bikes and a car for each of us. Both of us have young kids and full time jobs, at some point I'd like to actually to drive something I've built, or sleep...

Re: 2wd Blazer and Jimmy's find thread
Looks to be an older restoration that's been well kept. 70 with early front clip. $25000 I would like to see more of that guage bezel.

Re: 2wd Blazer and Jimmy's find thread
$15k with original paint. I feel like the asking price is worth it. Not a lot of bodywork to get this one to where it needs to be

Re: 2wd Blazer and Jimmy's find thread
I know I'm nitpicking. Wrong mirrors, wrong pulleys on the engine.
The engine looks like it's sitting in the rear position like a 4x4. The thing that really stands out is the top radiator hose has the 4x4 metal extension on it. Definitely not supposed to have that if it's a 2wheel dr if the engine is in the correct front mounted engine position. I had a 71 2 wheel drive Jimmy and a 72 2 wheel drive Blazer both had factory 350 engine's. Both had manual transmissions in them. Both had the engine mounted in the forward engine position. Owner states factory v8. That's the first factory 2 wheel drive that I have every seen with the engine mounted in the rear position. Lots of dents. Love the color. Could be a nice Blazer. Re: 2wd Blazer and Jimmy's find thread
I paid less for mine but it needs quite a bit of rust repair.

Re: 2wd Blazer and Jimmy's find thread
Looks like it's in the forward position to me. There's no telling how much stuff could have been changed in the 45+ years since these vehicles were built. I'm still finding stuff that someone changed on mine and I've had it for over 3 years.

Re: 2wd Blazer and Jimmy's find thread
It just looks weird with the 4x4 metal extensions on the radiator hose.

Re: 2wd Blazer and Jimmy's find thread
You're right. It is in the forward position. Just didn't look right with the metal extensions that is used on 4x4's.

Re: 2wd Blazer and Jimmy's find thread
Looks like a great start, there you go 70blackfish, you can strip your truck down and make someone a good deal on what's left. I want a nice SWB roller just don't want to give up my 71 2wd blazer to get it......

Re: 2wd Blazer and Jimmy's find thread
Vin plate has been off before. Wrong rivets holding it on. Had an original 6 cylinder engine

Re: 2wd Blazer and Jimmy's find thread
Looks like the VIN plate matches the numbers stamped on the frame rail. The plate was probably taken off to paint it correctly.

Re: 2wd Blazer and Jimmy's find thread
Im gonna be listing mine on here. I have a post on the WIW thread to get feedback on what it should be worth, but for board compliance, I am gonna say $12,000 - for now.
The restoration has stalled and I hate to see it sitting. My daughter starts college in 18 months and I have two more coming behind her. So here she is. Have a TON of parts stashed to go with her including new bumper, grille, chrome grille trim, hoops, etc...

Re: 2wd Blazer and Jimmy's find thread
1970 2wd - 1 of 985 - been sitting awhile - not mine. Likely well worth the 7900 for a clean title, complete 2wd project. 6 lug would still have been on the 70 2wd model.
