Me too, though I am not sure yet if they will work with a NPT thread. The seating area looks pretty close too. I have honestly never paid attention on banjo bolts. If anyone knows for sure please let us know.

I may need to get 16 more flex lines with a 90 degree end and a 3/8 npt.

Wilwood flex line kit includes a 3/8” NPT 90 degree for the caliper and a straight connection on the flex line. Found a pic of one installed.

Was trying to be clever and stay away from the 90 as I couldn’t be sure where it would be pointing when tightened.

Yep...I just looked it up on wilwood and it shows the NPT 90 for the caliper..that's suprising...I woulda thought wilwood would use the best of the best...but if that's what they use then it must be ok...

Is that 3/8npt?...it shows to be 1/8npt...

Yes sorry, is 1/8”...don’t know why I was thinking 3/8” .

And never having worked with Wilwood calipers before, the NPT is a new one on me. That is probably why they have this sticker over the port.

So, I will get the 90’s and straight fitting on the end of the line. That will reduce the torquing stress on the caliper body and have a reduce chance of road debris impact damage.

I'm like you..trying to clock a npt fitting could be tricky to get it in the right spot..and it be tight or not over torqued....

If you don't mind me asking......What calipers are these? Are they Wilwood's GM Metric replacement? I wish I would of had AN fittings on my calipers instead of half assed banjo bolts. I could never get them to stop leaking.

Good question Paintman. If I remember correctly these are the forge 4 piston dynalite calipers. It is the base model for bolt on kits. Here is a little more information...https://www.wilwood.com/calipers/cal...ged%20dynalite

I think the GM replacements are two piston.

Lol....right on, that is actually my youngest granddaughter and she was fed up about something.

While checking fitment I determined the line nuts are too small to fit the chassis tab pass through....and I also learned why a component “kit” is so expensive. You need a forensic part number accountant to get the right pieces.

Nathan is continuing the wiring layout and mounted the accessory drive to determine alternator connection routing. And I finally decided to go this route for coil mounting.

Thanks guys, it will be epic! I know it is too far for Kees. Hopefully Greg and Jim can make it.

In addition to good food and great people we now have planned:

Torch, MIG and TIG welding, take turns practicing with some talented folks.
Brake plumbing and trying out various benders and flaring tools on nickel copper, steel and stainless steel.
Trying out push lock hose fittings on the Cool Tools press and a home made press.
Of course finishing the wiring, running the fuel lines and starting the LS, getting the Wilwood brakes and lines installed. Maybe air ride stuff too.

We will all learn from each other. No ego’s here...!

Me too Scott! We have folks lined up to provide snacks, drinks (non alcoholic), and lunch. Plus others who will do some impromptu seminars for us on brake plumbing, welding, LS swaps...and we can apply that immediately on the Burb. We will have a fluid loose structure to have a good time.

A few posts ago we were kicking around the connection to the brake caliper. While I have concerns about where the NPT 90 will point once tightened, this most likely be a better way to go.

And we will have options...just in case we need to plumb a 32 wheeled vehicle.

I’ve never used the nickel copper so we have that, plus steel and stainless steel 3/16 tube to play with for comparison purposes.
