Re: 1976 Square "Simple Green"
So some of you may ask what I thought you liked the Bilstein and I did. But I had a credit with PB cause the addco sway didn't work out so good plus my ride height front shock measurement is 10". The Bilstein compressed measurement was 9.4" so that only left me with 0.6" before bottoming out in the front. Plus I got something coming from PB also haha. So the combination of all that is why I got the RideTech/Fox shocks. So I spoke with Chase from RideTech who is on the forum nice guys at length about my setup the shocks I have ran which is about 6 different sets and what I like in a ride. So we went over compressed and extended length and such. So now in the front I have 2.5" of compressed travel and in the rear have the c notch and 1" drop I will have 2.5" of compressed travel in rear.

And I did get the RQ shocks. I though about the adjustable but I already know myself I would never stop adjusting them I would be out ever day making a adjustment lol. But man let me tell you these are a top quality shock they look killer. Yes they are not the brushed body like the Bilstein but these look sporty looking. Black Anodized aluminum RideTech and Fox logos on them. I can see why they cost so much. And easy to install. I did notice out of the mono shocks I have ran that it didn't take all my might and no grunting to compress these enough so I could bolt them in. And I say it is because I wasn't having to compress them so far like the others. Cause these are matched up perfect for my ride height. Did I say they look bad ass lol. They do ride awesome. Like I said let me drive them today and I will report back and I will give you in order how I would rank the shocks I have ran. Last edited by RodsGreen10; 06-10-2016 at 06:00 AM. |

Re: 1976 Square "Simple Green"
So moving along with about 10 different things I am trying to decide on keep the original working 8 track or replace it. If I keep it I will just run my music through my iPhone and Pandora and run directly to amp. Or buy one of those retro radios that I will probably do the same cause I don't listen to the local stations that much.
