Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread
I saw your "oval" on craigslist, hope she sells soon! I have zero knowledge about VW's but their kind of interesting in a strange way to me and there is a big club here in Springfield with some very nice rides.

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread
and when you copy the link and submit it, you can type in the title you want to the link....instead of just having the plain link...
(Like Rebuild on a shoestring )

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread
i'd seen a verry loud alpine setup in a toyota pickuptruck a while back , he's taken the rearwindow out and replaced it with thick plexyglass the enclosed box was in the bed against the cab and the top of the box above the 4 15 inch speakers had piping going through the rear window ending behind the heads of the passengers
it was scary loud and he broke the plexiglass rearwindow and more than one ocasion

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread
for the box you could use those metal two part clips they use to hang up kitchen cabinets

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread
on the box it is heavy enough and fits in the hole tight enough that i am just going to put some anle iron runners on the floor on each side and make 2 bolt in legs for the front bottom edge that can be hid with a trim panel

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread
maibe you can bolt it down from inside the box through the speakerholes before putting the speakers back in should hide it a lot better and make things a little more simple

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread
Sorry, I was trying to give you an example, but instead of the coding it just showed my link as it appears below. Basically it goes something like this:
Slosh Tubz Crap, no coding, I'll send you the text and see if that works. I'm a web-tard...
