Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds
If he paid to have the work done I guarantee he's over $35k.
There's a truck locally that is a 1972 long bed... When finished it will be a 100k+ vehicle and it will be STOCK. LOL, I'm not saying the owner is getting a good deal, but it's easy to sink big money into a build. Especially if you hire it done. |

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds
Hey, I know it's not a craigslist find but if anyone is in the Charles town WV area there is an old guy named Jerry Shewbridge who i am pretty sure still has a 1969 c20? for sale. I will check in the morning. I know he has done some work to it and it looks like a solid truck but I didn't have the money for it when I bought mine from him. It's only $3,500 and if he still has it he might go down to $3,000. Tell him the kid that bought the blue 69 sent you. It's the orange one in the background.

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds
Did that actually have a dana 60 front axle? I was gonna call and didn't. And did you drive from redding to reno to look at it? It didn't look like it was cut down from a long bed.

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds
No kidding, a long bed frame. From the angle I caught of the wheel well rim, it looked to be a true short bed. Looks like it sold. Post was deleted anyway.

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds
Dana 60 front end is 1 ton and is worth half the asking price. I agree, I looked at all angles for the possibility it was cut down too...cant believe it was a 2wd title to boot, what a fool that bought that....you couldn't even part it out and recoup the asking price.
