Re: Al's 71C10 Rebuild

Keith that's the main reason why I have been hesitant about doing that mod. I would rather just buy another set of rear wheels with the correct backspace. But I am ok with it don't feel like spending 1600.00 on new rear wheels to gain a half inch lower. Knowing how I always get tired of wheels my next set will have the different offset.

Rob definitely a great idea on the group but if I decide to go that route I will speak with Justin.

$1600?
I just figured a new housing and axles,... and swap all of your parts.
Plus you get to keep the amount of wheel lip, that you have now.

The 1600.00 is for two new wheels with a different bs. The part that kind of blows is that everything is brand new in this rear end and it will still cost a few hundred dollars between all involved to switch over plus time

I guess I could start trying to find one around here then make it a day job

I agree with Keith, before I did anything else I would change the rear to the narrow axle before I did anything with those sweet wheels.

Re: Al's 71C10 Rebuild

Thanks joe!!!
I am ok with the wheels as even it they tucked more I would only gain 1/2 inch so it is not a big deal plus I like the fat look in the rear it has

Sunshine state isn't always sunny. I love the random rain storms. Not as bad since I moved up here but sure do remember them down south.
