Re: How about some pics of 60-66 Trucks
Saw this 60 in town yesterday, think I might go with this color on my 62 stepside project. Might go with the 60-61 hood too, preferably with the 61 grill and hood inserts. Don't think I'll go with a 73-80 bumper though..

Re: How about some pics of 60-66 Trucks
Nice looking truck, very clean.
When do we see the rest?!! That looks fantastic. Those trucks certainly must have led a hard life. Looks like the fender extension may be the only straight panel left on either one.

Re: How about some pics of 60-66 Trucks
Here are a few on my list. All of these are currently for sale. There are so many trucks for sale I just can't make up my mind which one I want. I would love to build my own but I understand my limitations and abilities.

Talk about identity crisis.. 61 Chevy with a 64 grill and a GMC hood.. It works though, I like it!

Re: How about some pics of 60-66 Trucks
Sounds like my new step side project, I'm using a 64 SWB chassis, with a cab from a 62 Chev 1 ton and considering using the 60-61 Chev bubble hood with a 61 grill and the seat out of my old 66 GMC..

Re: How about some pics of 60-66 Trucks
Napa Mid 70’s GM med blue metallic enamel, flattener mixed 25% over black primer on outside, with high gloss inside and under hood, with lots of pin striping.

PPG sells a Satin Finish Clear...It aint cheap. I had to go with the Gloosy Clear (dam recession!!! LOL) ...but may change it later. FYI...You can sand glossy clear with a super fine sand paper to get the satin look.
