Glad you and the other driver are okay! That really sucks for the truck but the truck can be rebuilt!

Re: Daverods project 66
When I come out of my coma. Started takin parts off, with my cutting wheel. I think I'll take some parts from my 66. Grill support, radiatior support. Might be able to bend the passanger fender into shape. The drivers side needs a new front part. I needed a new radiatior anyways. I have some extra hood hinges. I can fix the hood. What kinda grill do you have Paul? Drivers fender?Grill support? Dont care about rust I have a lot of patch panels.

Re: Daverods project 66
I've got the same grill that you go. I think the grill support is in good shape. The drive fender has one little rust out in it. It sucks not having my parts at my house though.

Re: Daverods project 66
Daverod there is a guy in Riverside outside of Blackfoot that has a lot of parts. His name is Lyle Hansen. He has a shop in town and has a pretty good selection of trucks. If I remember right one has a AC cab. His number is 680-2464. I got some sail panels from him and a glove box and some door pulls for 40 bucks. I think he is pretty fair. Good Luck!!!

Re: Daverods project 66
Thanks Guys. It does suck but life goes on. I must be feeling better because this morning I started ripping it apart. You know I always look twice, I did that time too and both times she was in a blind spot hid by other cars. I had to go pay my ticket this morning. I was so nervous I thought everyone was going to hit me. I think I just turned into one of those people that goes like 5 mph everwhere they drive, No I wasn't on my phone. Thats what I hate the most.

Re: Daverods project 66
Can we call you a knot head now???? Glad you are ok!!
Just a suggestion ... but now might be a good time to upgrade the brakes from the old single cylinder to a dual cylinder or maybe power discs..
