Re: How about some pics of 73-87 Long Beds?
I'll snap some more pics after we get it back from paint. My dad had it installed during one of our family road trips down to Mexico. It was pretty much a standard bumper for trucks down there because of random farm animals crossing the road.

First welcome. I would ditch the topper. Get rid of those mirrors unless you are planning on pulling a camper. MO Everthing else sounds good.

Re: How about some pics of 73-87 Long Beds?
I am a new member of this web site and would like to share a few photos of my truck.
- 1987 Chev "Wrangler" 4X4 (Exclusive Canadian build truck) - 350CID with TBI - 4 speed Auto/Overdrive - Full "A + B" Wrangler Option Package - One of 455 built with the options package in red over black paint scheme. - 2.5" lift in rear - Extra leaf in front - 33x10.5 rubber (not on truck when photos taken) I have owned the truck since new. Fresh paint, no rust, all original equipment Are there any other Wrangler owners out there? Sometimes hard finding good parts for "Wrangler" |

Re: How about some pics of 73-87 Long Beds?
I've been lurking for a while now and think I've got this picture posting thing figured out... this is my 79-87 3/4T plow truck. It's a family project that's in it's 3rd build now (after the fire in January).

The truck is back in MI now and being re-built AGAIN by my Dad & Brother. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/gallery/...8633&protype=1 |

Re: How about some pics of 73-87 Long Beds?
Damn man. That's just like my dad's old '65. He had just finished building it and he let his brother borrow it to show it off, and it caught fire under the hood, then moved to the cab. Fire department had to put it out. Next day my dad stripped it down and started back over. My dad said it was something he had screwed up on that caused the fire; he didn't make that mistake a second time.
