This little shorty looks fit for a king

https://modesto.craigslist.org/cto/d...413931088.html

1969 Chevy truck, this is a running and driving stock pick up. 350/350 PS PB Factory Tinted Glass...... Kissed by Mother Nature this shortbed Fleetside retains its original (now 50-year-old sun bleached) paint that cannot be reduplicated (although tried) and very sought after. Getting harder and harder to find, this is a must see to all true antique truck fanatics! All body panels are in fantastic shape with no major dents or dings, nice rockers and cab corners, slight rust in some typical areas, also new tires, all working lights, No back fees and a clean slip and even "the Protecto Plate" are a bonus also........ Anyone with any question about this driving "Time Capsule"

First the car cultured watered down the term "original" now there in the process of watering down the term "time capsule". Sorry, not going to happen, regardless of what the seller says, time capsule is the way it looked in its prime, with still nice solid factory applied paint. Lets call it a "survivor".

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds Part 2

Personally I would say “original”, “original paint”, “patina”, “not rusty”. But I agree “time capsule” is reserved for a special few that are close to how they left the factory.

72 Cheyenne Super $10900. Not mine. Nice color combination and it looks to be fairly original. Looking at the intake manifold I would bet it had an aftermarket manifold at some point.

Funny, I was just looking at the Rarest truck thread and then this pops up. I don't recall seeing AC44 plugs spelled out on the SPID before, along with some other odd options. I guess with the Special Paint option, it was some sort of fleet truck.

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds Part 2

How about a loaded 1970 Suburban for $14,700?

https://phoenix.craigslist.org/nph/c...409913619.html
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1970 Chevrolet Suburban 1/2Ton V8 it has the coil spring rear end that rides very smooth. This is a Tailgate model.

Loaded with factory options including 350 V8 automatic Air conditioning GM Custom Decor Front bucket seats and both rear seats with original interior and carpet.

This is an Original Bucket seat Suburban with a console. The interior is over 50 years old in original material.
I have never seen another one in person with this seat option most suburbans were bench seats.

Also has working Factory tachometer and factory AC plus other cool options.

It Runs and drives pretty good for a 50-year-old truck.

It went through a outside color change sometime in its life before I got it. Just the outside, They did not repaint inside the jams.

It does need the typical patch panels due to rust issues that most of these era 1967-1972 GM Trucks have. THE Patch panels are available online. The rest of the frame seems pretty solid AND is not rusty underneath.

Owned for almost 20 years, Reluctantly have decided to sell it. I’m Pretty sure I will never find another one with these options! It is a nice one and would be a Super cool truck when restored. This body style is on fire and prices are going up! Looking for a Serious buyer who really wants a 3 door Suburban.

Located in North Phoenix and I’m be willing to show between 10 and 6 PM. By appointment.

If still listed -Then yes it is still for sale!

Please don’t give me insulting $$ offers as they will be ignored. I know what this truck is and how hard it is to replace it!
So let’s be real! Work with me and I’ll be fair to you. Call. - 6 Zero 2 -216-22 77.

I’m old-school and would appreciate a phone call if you have an interest .

Please don’t text or email me I am not very good at it.

Please just call me Thanks! Eddie

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds Part 2

Really nice 69 GMC Custom Camper Liner on bring a trailer. Not mine. Has lots of cool documentation.

https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1969-gmc-2500-6/

This 1969 GMC 2500 Custom pickup was purchased new by the seller’s father-in-law from Dan Ely Buick GMC Inc. in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and was given to the seller’s late husband in 1979. A replacement 350ci V8 and brown interior upholstery were installed in 2008. The truck has been repainted white and is equipped with a three-speed automatic transmission, power steering and brakes, a brush guard, eight-lug hubs, steel wheels, a spotlight, wing windows, and a CD player. Service in 2020 included an oil change and replacing the spark plugs. This GMC pickup is offered with service records, an owner’s manual, sales paperwork, and a clean New Mexico title in the seller’s name.

This C 30 single wheel pickup has the incorrectly factory installed 10,000 GVW plate. Issue was later corrected by GM.

I just can't wrap my head around selling the original hubcaps off ones truck after 50 plus years.

For Sale: 1967 1968 Chevy Truck C10 Factory Original 15” Steel 6 Lug Wheels, 15” Hubcaps and New Cooper 235/75/15” tires, 2 are brand new and the other 2 might have 500 miles on them , these are the original hubcaps and wheels off of my 67 C10, they were the optional ones when the original owner bought the truck new I have the original paperwork showing how much it was to add these to the truck when he bought it! They are in very good shape with some minor small dings nothing major!
