so a little seat update, took the seats to a different shop yesterday, the guy says yeah I will do them, I go great, let's unload them, he goes I don't want them! What?

he says I won't be able to get to them for 3 to 4 weeks so I don't want to store them, so he says bring them back in two weeks, I go but how will I keep my place in line? he goes I won't forget or something like that

I honestly do not understand how these one man shops stay in business! actually I do, they don't ha ha, out of the 10 places I tried to contact 3 were already out of service

I don't know if this has been mentioned before, but have you looked at the seat covers made by Katskins (I think that is the correct spelling)

I hear they are very nice and they don't look, or fit, like 'covers' as they are made specifically for the make/model of your factory seat.

thanks, I'm always open to suggestions, no I have not looked nor heard of 'em, but I just did and sadly they start at 1994 vehicles and go up from there, and these beauties are from 1991 and I think were only like a year or two design.

I thought you had the 60/40 split bench seat. Then went back some pages and see you have the buckets.

Interesting:

Note: Some vehicles, such as the 1988-Up Chevy Trucks and Full Size Blazer have the original seat upholstery heat laminated to the foam making it very difficult to remove the old upholstery. Our seat kits for these models do not require the removal of the old upholstery. Our sets will go right over the original and hog ring where the original seat cover is attached.

I'm not sure I am a fan of that.

i'll 2nd the online seat cover thing. call katskinz and i bet they can help you. if not, there are a TON of places who probably can. they are proper upholstery, not just covers.

just having some coffee this morning and trying out different steering wheel ideas, wish this came in a three spoke, maybe I'll shoot it over to Robert's Ding Performance garage in Tehjas for a few mods

kept looming the engine wiring harness last night until this happened:

yup ranned out of this Tesa Wire Loom Harness Tape Used By Mercedes BMW VW Audi really excellent stuff and a roll goes a long way, all the way to the rear wheel lol

Engine harness looks good, but I'm not sure that steering wheel could be improved on.

The painted ECU looks great. I should have done the same. Mine looks a lot like the one you stared with.

thanks, not sure what it will do in terms of the heat, I think that's why they don't paint them in the first place so it acts as a heat sink, so you can justify not painting yours that way
