Re: ChevyLand ‘The Truck Photo Tour’

I’ve never seen these pictures till today
But, I
Still own that boat
Truck was wrecked a couple decades ago
Many great stories
But
Get this
I’m heading out tomorrow to our place back east
Looked up Shelly

She only lives 1-1/2 hrs from us
Haven’t seen her in close to 30 years
This ought to be fun
I’ll Bet
The Cocktails will still be flowing
Like they did when we were teenagers

Life is good

Safe travels. I love those folding lawn chairs - just picked up two for free on the side of the road.

Yep
Came from a cold area in the mountains
To
A colder area by the sea

The guy parked it at his mothers house
Back in 06
She said, it hasn’t moved since
I told her I could help her get rid of the yard art
But she said, he just doesn’t want to see it go
.
.
It’s always sentimental

I have a friend like that. He buys stuff and lets it sit. Doesn't drive it, fixes very little. He has a 62 F250 4WD that was a Forest Fire truck in very decent shape. He bought it fixed the exhaust, bought some new tires and rims then parked it outside.
I like the long steppers. I've had 2, one I ordered new. That one looks like it was a town truck but the Highlander seat says otherwise. Cool truck. If you don't want to drag it all the way back to the left coast after you finally talk her into selling...

Re: ChevyLand ‘The Truck Photo Tour’

Well at least there is a possibility it may be on the road again. Its not sitting in a junk yard being parted out.

I'm guilty of letting things sit for a very long time always thinking someday ...

That is indeed one of my favorites! Not sure why I have a thing for Alaskans, but I just do... FGs are a very unique Alaskan - hard to find these days in decent condition.

The ability to speak several languages is an asset, but the ability to keep your mouth shut in any language is priceless.
