Thanks guys, I wasn't home to work on it really yesterday but I did manage to clean the 1" thick of dust from my brothers garage off of the body and frame I did however get myself a new creeper and a 3 ton low profile jack from harbor freight. I also snapped this cool pic as I walked into the garage.

Yes sir I need to order my bed and get that mocked up and on the frame. After I'm done mocking up the bed and bed floor I'm going to pull all the sheet metal and cab back off and redo my brake and fuel lines and also my exhaust. Then it's on to finishing the bodywork and paint and then hopefully putting it together for the last time

I hear ya. I am still debating on buying a new bed or not. I am trying to get my fuel and brake lines done before I set the cab on so I dont have to remove it once it is installed. We will see though. Hey it looks like its going to be in the 30's next week maybe I can actually get something done.

I have to pull my cab back off anyway to do the bodywork and paint it. The motor sits to close to the firewall to even attempt to work around it, it's easier to just pull the cab again. Hopefully it warms up for you and you can get back on it.

Ben, come on you can do a dropmember. Just unbolt yours and bolt one up. You know how much they cost. Sounds a lot easier and cheaper for someone else to say it huh? Id have to say I would do it over again for sure.

I'm buying the custom bedsides without the stake pocket holes from SOKY. I got my front fenders from AMD and they where nice as well.

Cleaned the truck up today and removed the tape from my wheels. It was definitely time to get the tape off, was a bit of a pita. I need to polish the wheels up, has some left over tape residue on them. I'll just wrap them in plastic for now on.

I love those wheel! I was kinda worried about residue from the tape being on so long. You probably don't have some rollers you can bolt on? Goo gone should clean them up for ya. I bet you love having this puppy at home.

I was trying to keep them protected while it was at my brothers garage, I figured it is a polished wheel so it can be polished out. It's really not that bad, I wiped the lip of the front wheel with some Mothers metal polish and it came right off. I just have to have the time to polish all 4 of them. I don't have a set of rollers to bolt on but I'm not really worried about them now that the truck is home with me. I'll just cover them with plastic wrap.

If it was me, I'd wait until you put your bed on. You might like how the 20" rear wheel looks. I'm actually going to go with 20's all the way around when I get to replacing my current 22's. I like a little more sidewall though. Regardless of what you decide to do, I love those wheels, and your truck is looking better every time I see it.

Sounds like no biggy on the tape residue. That's good to hear. That Mother's is good stuff! Yeah use some plastic all the way around them, or get some fancy tire/wheel covers like THESE.

I think you made the right call sticking with 20" all the way around. Just my opinion but I prefer non staggered diameters. But heck, you should just sell the whole set to me at nice discount....I have been trying to knock Kyle down on his, he's just not having it....

Thanks, I won't be doing anything until after the truck is on the road. I like a little more sidewall too and I like the rear fenders to be filled up. That's why I was thinking about 22's in the rear. I may just go with a larger rear tire like a 295/45/20. I'll wait until the bed is on and then see if I want to go with a bigger tire or possibly larger rear wheels.

Thanks Mike, I actually already have those wheel covers. You can see them in some pictures earlier on in my thread. I got them from summit for under $30.00 for all 4.

I figured you would be on Kyle for his, I know how much you like them and he is in your own back yard. You can see them in person. My first set of billets like 12-13 years ago were a 20/22 combo on my Dakota R/T. I was like the first person around to do it I always thought it looked good. Funny thing is I actually ordered these wheels as 20/22 but talked myself out of it and changed my order.
